Intermediate IT Support Technician

We are looking for an Intermediate IT Support Technician to join our team!  The successful applicant will be responsible for: 

  • Answer, evaluate and prioritize incoming telephone calls, voice mail, and e-mail requests for assistance from customers experiencing problems with hardware, networking, and other network related technologies.

  • Respond to customer trouble reports in a professional manner and on a timely basis.

  • Participate in on-call rotation with other Lantern Hill IT staff members

  • Follow up with the customers on a regular basis ensuring customer satisfaction

  • Escalate problems to senior staff members when prompt resolution is not possible.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned. 

     

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' work experience in IT support
  • Certifications in Microsoft technologies 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong prioritization and organization skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and without supervision
  • Strong analytical skills in identifying, understanding and resolving problems
  • Degree/diploma would be beneficial
